For a high school girl, prom is the most important night in her life. The hair, the shoes, the purse and the makeup all bring the prom look together…but what about the dress?
Some girls start the search for the perfect dress months before the big day. However, the dress can be the most expensive part of the prom experience. Sure, you might catch a great sale on your dream dress, but some might not be as lucky.
WCWP, PTV and The Pioneer are hosting a Prom Dress Drive for a high school (soon to be confirmed) next month. The goal is to help girls who may not have the funds to buy their dream dress. That’s where you come in. We are calling all you girls! We need dresses! Whether it be your old prom dress, a bridesmaid dress, or any kind of cocktail dress, if you’re willing to donate it, you’re helping a girl who would truly appreciate it. To all you guys who might be reading this, ask your girlfriends, your sister, a cousin, a close girl friend, and see if they’re willing to part with a dress.
For those interested in donating a dress, you can bring them to WCWP (behind Hillwood Commons), PTV (Humanities 214) or The Pioneer office (upstairs of Hillwood Commons).
